Membership & Enrollment Fees

To enroll in classes, field trips, or activities, families must first join Salt Hybrid Academy.

  • Family Registration Fee: $150.00 per family (non-refundable). Membership renews annually each June (active members will receive a renewal notification). The fee covers the application, participation in co-op classes, shared resources, group activities, facility usage & maintenance, and insurance.
  • Student Enrollment Fee: $100.00 per student annually (charged after class registration). The fee covers technology, accounting, registration support/customer service and administrative costs.
  • Registration Timeline: Class registration opens in March for the upcoming school year (August–May). Students are expected to commit for the full academic year.
  • Mid-Year Enrollment: Students registering in January will be charged a pro-rated second-semester fee, which remains fixed through May.

Payment Terms & Schedules

  • Deposit: A 10% deposit of your total balance is required at registration to hold your child's spot (for non-Step Up families).
  • Payment Options: You may pay the remaining balance monthly, quarterly, or in full (for non-Step Up families).
  • Due Dates: The first quarter balance is due by August 15th. Unpaid balances may result in temporary suspension from class.

Refund Policy

  • General Policy: Registration fees and payments for completed classes are non-refundable.
  • Withdrawals Before Classes Start: If you pay upfront and withdraw before classes begin, you may receive a refund of up to 90% (minus the $25 drop fee).
  • Withdrawal Fee: If a family drops a class after the 2-week grace period, a $25 drop fee per class applies, plus tuition for the entire quarter. Re-registration is not permitted until all outstanding balances are settled.
  • Mid-Year Withdrawals: Discontinuing classes after January 1st invalidates eligibility for a refund (exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis).
